Let me introduce myself – I am Ziggy, an eight-year-old black DSH portly gentleman, who was probably a butler in one of my past lives. I like to answer the door, especially if you are on the other side. Then I will follow you around, chatting about my day and asking about yours. I really enjoy 2-way conversations with you. I don’t think I lasted too long as a butler since my chatting was not in the job description! Let’s see, what else would you like to know about me? I lived in a home with two other cats: we were not bonded but we did get along. I also get along with older children. Our human had to move, and we could not go with her. I love cat trees, especially the top tier. And cat trees with built-in scratching posts are cool. I like string toys, laser pointers, and jingly balls. But most of all I want to be near you – in your lap, in your bed, next to you on the couch – you get the picture. When you first get me home, I will be a little shy and skittish until I have explored our house and made it mine. Then we can live there together – doesn’t that sound grand?
