How Estate Planning Benefits The Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County (AWLMC)

At the AWLMC, we provide enrichment, rehabilitation, and medical treatment while we work to find loving homes for the cats and kittens in our care. We are an all volunteer no-kill shelter. Over the past twenty years have found homes for over 3,000 cats. While donations help us continue this critical work, gifts in your will or estate plan allow us to plan long-term for the future of our program. With estate planning, you have the power to ensure that generations of animals to come will continue to receive the love and care they deserve, all due to your foresight and generosity.

The reality is, we never know what life will bring, but through estate planning, we can help secure the futures of not only our loved ones, but the causes that inspire us. By including AWLMC in your will or estate plan, you can provide support that continues for many years.

How Can You Get Involved?

Include a bequest to AWLMC in your will or trust. You may leave a specific amount, or a percentage of the balance remaining in your estate or trust. Your assets remain in your control during your lifetime, and you may modify your bequest to address changing circumstances at any time.

You also have the option to designate AWLMC as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy or a brokerage account.
