Hello – I am Teddy – an eight-year-old orangish male DSH kitty looking for my furever people, along with my Best Friend Moose! I am easy to get along with as long as you remember that it is needs to be on my terms. I love to sleep with you or sit on your lap watching TV – when I want to. I prefer to be in the same area as my people but am uncomfortable with loud or sudden noises – I will hide until I am sure it is safe out there. My favorite activities are eating, sleeping, and playing with cat toys like a red dot laser, toys on wands and the occasional ball. Basking in the sun is also on the list. I will meow to remind you of mealtimes, and I expect you to keep me company while I eat. My curiosity will entertain you – I really want to know what is on the other side of that closed door. And about that foot fetish – I love sniffing feet – yours or your visitors.
My former person is moving and there is nobody to keep me and give me lots of attention and affection. So what am I looking for in my new home? I think I’d like to be an only pet with pet parents who welcome my overtures but who will not push me for more than I am willing to give. Call me independent! Call me cat!
