This six-year-old gray with white tabby girl has a true rescue story. She was found and rescued at the site of a house fire this past fall and taken to the county Local Shelter for her own safety. After plenty of time passed for her owners to find her, AWLMC claimed her and is helping to find her new forever home. And now to introduce...Tabitha! Hi there! My foster mom calls me her princess because she thinks I’m a sassy diva! I have news for her – I want to be Queen! I quickly established my status in my foster home. The dog is beneath my dignity to even acknowledge so I simply ignore him and he steers clear of me. After we were properly introduced, I found it to be a good thing the two resident boy cats are mellow or I would have to show them who is boss! But humans are another story. I’m very sweet and affectionate with them. I’m still a bit of a queen conveying my wishes through a series of meows – I can be quite vocal when necessary – but it’s all about being where you are. Pick me up when I want to be carried! Sit down when I want a lap for napping! And stop what you are doing when it’s time to play! I love petting, snuggling, and will sleep with you at night. So, if you’re looking for a Queen to rule your castle, I just may be your diva…I mean kitty!
