You can call me “Sugar” because I am a very sweet calico tabby medium length fur girl who is 14 years old. Somehow, I was separated from my human family and turned into the county shelter as a stray. But AWLMC is going to fix that and find me a new home.
Now then, to help us know if we’re a good match, here are some things for you to know about me. I have a big purr and love to share it with you. I’m not a big lap cat but I will snuggle up to you for some quiet time watching a movie or reading. And I like to sleep with you at the foot of your bed. I am a champion napper. Sometimes I like secluded spots, so you could get me a couple of beds that are enclosed. And sometimes I like to sleep out in the open on a blanket or in a warm sunbeam on the floor.
Sometimes I am a little timid but if you shake the treats container I will come running! I might startle if there are loud noises or sudden movements but I’m not a scaredy cat! I love to be brushed, except for my chest and belly. Sometimes I like you and I to play with wand toys. You can pick me up and carry me around – the view is interesting from way up there! My foster mom says you should get a litter box with high sides because I am such an excellent kicker when covering up my business! Oh, and closed doors are a most curious thing…what are you hiding behind it anyway?
So in summary, I am a well-behaved, affectionate, somewhat playful girl looking for a quiet adult-only household where I can spread some of my sugar and purrs around. What about your home? Could it use a little more Sugar?
