Hi there! I’m Sammy, a 5-year-old gray and white tabby boy with unusual markings on my face that tend to make people smile. My former family decided I need a new home because of their concerns about a medical condition. The good news is that I’ve now had surgery and I’m feeling fine! All I need is a new family who can commit to giving me my special food and regular vet checkups, and who will keep an eye on me to make sure I’m staying healthy. The folks here understand this a lot better than I do, so they’ll explain all the details.
Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s move on to the fun stuff! The most important thing to know about me is that I’m 100% love bug! I want to be with people all the time and will follow you around the house, waiting for a lap to sit on. A person’s bed is my favorite place to sleep. My second favorite activity is play. Ask me what I like to play with; my response is, “absolutely everything!” I love balls, string toys, feathers, laser pointers, and anything else you’ve got. If nobody has time to cuddle or play, I can explore on my own or make do with a cardboard scratching pad.
