Hi, I’m Smudge, a spunky 7-year-old black and white tuxedo girl with beautiful eyes. Can you guess how I got my name? Take a look at my nose; my former person was an artist who said it looked like it was smudged with paint. I started life in a South Carolina shelter; my former family found me as a tiny kitten, and I lived with them happily until now, when their health makes them unable to take care of me.
I love people and will be your companion in so many ways. I’ll snuggle and nap on your lap and sleep curled up with you in bed at night. I love conversations with people and will "call out" to you using trills and meows to find you in the house. I’ll even bring you little presents like dollar bills, crumpled paper, and other random things I find interesting. Although I’m not the kind of cat to greet people when they walk in the door, once visitors are settled, I’ll make a grand entrance, greeting them with head butts and body rubs on their legs and hands. If invited, I may settle on a visitor's lap to touch noses and give them a good sniff. I’ve made good friends with other cats and small dogs.
