I am Smokey, but I don’t smell like smoke, I just look like smoke! I am a male four-year-old smokey gray cat who is waiting for you at AWLMC. My humans are moving and could not take me with them, so I am looking for a furr-ever home with you. I am a very affectionate cat; in fact, when I want petting, I will gently reach out to you with soft paws to let you know what I want – you! I will talk to you too – my purrs and meows will let you know that I am happy with what you are doing. You can even carry me around for a bit before I want to get down. Another favorite activity for me is to watch TV with you sitting beside me or me in your lap. I also play with cat toys but nothing beats hanging out with you. In the past, I have gotten a little too excited during an extended petting session and let my person know with a little playful nip that we were done but that does not happen too often since I love attention. Supervision of the preparation of my meals is part of my job description as is sleeping with you. I have never lived with any other animals so I am not sure that would be a good idea.
