Hi there, I’m Slurpy/Kitty Boo — a 12-year-old solid white Domestic Shorthair, named because I’m as white as freshly fallen snow. I was with my person my whole life, but now they’re moving to Germany, and the long quarantine period there just wouldn’t be fair to me. So, here I am, looking for my next forever home.
Let me tell you a bit about myself. I’m known for my signature “meow” — it’s how I let you know it’s mealtime, and trust me, I’ll keep it up until the food is in my bowl! I’m also a bit of an adventurer. I love exploring every corner of a room (and then doing it again, just to be sure I didn’t miss anything important). Boxes, cozy nooks, mysterious corners — I’m your guy.
I’ll admit, I’m a little shy with new people. It’ll take me a couple of weeks to warm up, but once I do, I’m affectionate, cuddly, and all about that snuggle life. I love curling up with you on the couch or sleeping beside you at night. I’ve been told my purr is soft, steady and guaranteed to soothe even your hardest days.
When it comes to playtime, I’m full of energy. Anything that dangles, flutters, or scurries will grab my attention and get me moving. I also have a soft spot for being brushed, and I don’t mind being picked up (just not for too long, please). One of my favorite pastimes is sitting in the window, watching the world go by.
I’ve lived with another cat and even tolerated a dog — I’ll just walk away if things get too rowdy. I prefer a quiet, predictable home without a lot of sudden noise or movement. I’m sensitive like that.
