Hi, I’m Scooter, a loving and playful male 8 year old DLH kitty. My family adopted me as a kitten, but sadly, my human mom passed away and now I am looking for a new home. You may find me to be shy at first, but once I feel comfortable, I’m all yours. You will love brushing and petting my long fur. I am especially fond of the under the chin pet and have been known to expose my belly for petting action too! I love to sleep most anywhere: your chair/couch, my own bed/blanket and of course your bed is tops when you are in it. I will tolerate being picked up and carried when need be, but self-locomotion is my preferred mode of transport.
My favorite toys are stuffed mice and anything with a string. Curious by nature, I love to check out everything new. I do enjoy a good scratching post, too. I’m not a fan of loud noises like thunder, doors banging or things being dropped. Those send me running for cover and only coming out when it feels safe.
