Hi! I’m Perky, a 3-year-old handsome gray tabby boy. I’m active, affectionate and independent – I like play sessions, cuddle sessions and also chill time just looking out the window. I started out as a rescued runt of a barn cat litter and quickly became a total house kitty. Unfortunately, my owner developed allergies, so now I’m looking for a new home – maybe with you?
I might take a little while to warm up but I am a lover! I will jump on your lap for some love if you have a cozy blanket. At night, I start on your chest and then end up at the bottom of the bed. Do you like to chat? I’m a talker and have a solid purr motor just to let you know how much I enjoy our snuggling.
When I am ready to play I’ll come right up to you to get things started. My favorite toys are those connected to a string or wand, and bouncy balls with feathers. You will be entertained when I play goalie to those bouncy balls! And when you’re busy, I can play tag with those feathered things outside the window.
I have lived with other cats and dogs and we can get along fine as long as they are fairly calm like me. Crowds and high energy creatures aren’t my thing. I don’t mind being the only fur baby either. My needs are simple - just a window perch for my kitty TV and adults and/or older children to love and cuddle and play with. Does your house sound like my fur-ever home?
