I am Paisley Elizabeth. I am nine years old with a medium length cream, white and gray coat that is so soft you will not be able to resist petting me. In fact, I will touch your hand with my paw to let you know that I am ready for petting and purring – two of my favorite activities. I am looking for a new home because my human companion of the past four years is moving to Assisted Living and I am not allowed to accompany her. We are both mourning this loss – we had a daily routine where I would accompany her wherever she went in the house – I would go upstairs with her at night to sleep and come down in the morning where we would prepare our meals (well, I supervised!). I would spend time in the cat tree (wonderful views of the world around me). If my companion was out of the house for some reason, my sixth sense told me when she was almost home so I could meet her at the door where I expected her to pet me and apologize for leaving me alone. Combing my long fur was another of her duties that we both enjoyed. When the decision was made that she was moving, her house went up for sale. I had to stay in a Pet Hotel because of the potential buyers visiting the house. So you can see why I am so anxious to find another permanent home after all this upheaval and losing my beloved companion.
Are you my new companion? Please come see me soon – I want to come home.
