You will love chatting with me. I actually have quite a lot to say with my endearing chirps and meows. Like “Good Morning!”, “Can we play?”, “How about I sit next to you?”, “Let’s find out what’s behind this door.” or “Is it time to eat?”
Did I mention how much I love to run and play? Let’s see, there’s chasing strings, making your house safe from small stuffed mice, batting around balls, and then my absolute favorite. That pesky red dot. I’ll go round and round, up and down the stairs and even up the walls in pursuit of my electronic prey. Just like in the cartoons, I spin out on bare floors when putting on the brakes and making tight turns! Really, you have to see it.
Now it’s cuddle time. It may take me a while to get comfortable enough, but my foster says with encouragement I am quite affectionate once we are well acquainted. I will tag along from room to room, hang nearby while you work, and curl up on your lap when you settle in for some couch time. Head rubs and scratches are always appreciated, too.
Given my playfulness and athleticism, my dream home would include older children or adults who also enjoy action. My foster says I’m a quick study learning new house rules. After all, I’m no old dog. Speaking (“Woof”) of dogs, I have lived with them, no problem.
