"Night" in Latin is Noxis – that’s me! Nox for short -- black like the night sky, except for a white spot on my chest. I was adopted as a kitten and so happy until the human babies came along. Let’s just say this 8-year-old boy does not care for little kids. I tolerated the first baby when I was four. But when the second came along a few months ago, it was just too much for me and I showed that I was unhappy. However, I have been the perfect gentleman cat in my foster home – which has no children! My foster mom said I am “a lively, intelligent, companionable kitty!”
This is what I hope to find in my new home. First, I love attention, petting and talking with you. If I feel you are ignoring me I will either meow, nudge, or softly tap you with my paw. Windows with a view are an absolute must for my sunbathing and bird watching. While I am not crazy about being picked up and carried around, I love to take naps on your lap. My mom said to warn you that I like to tear and chew on tape, especially shipping tape when attached to a box. So, you’ll have to keep those out of my reach, or I will swallow the tape! Other than sticky tape, my favorite toys include feathers on a wand, anything with catnip in it, and my treat maze. Well, how about it? Come by so I can try out your lap for napping!
