Hi, I’m Mushu, a one and a half year old brown tabby boy who looks a bit like a jungle kitty with all my cool markings. I’m hanging out here at AWLMC after my previous family decided they couldn’t give me the attention I needed and took me to the county Local Shelter. If you have ever watched the movie Mulan, you can guess where I got my name. In the movie, Mushu is a bit of a zany troublemaker but has a big heart – and whatta ya know – that’s me! Just like Mulan’s Mushu, I want to please people and am motivated to be my very best self. I’m super social, and talkative too so I am ready for those meaningful conversations on the couch while we cuddle. But because I’m young I love to play all the time, so keep that stick toy or laser toy ready! I get really excited so sometimes I forget and think you are part of the toy, but because I love people and want them to be happy I’m working really hard on my manners. Although playing is my favorite activity, I do love cuddling as well and appreciate a good petting session. My foster mom says I like to play with other cats, so I would love to romp and play with a buddy. She also says I am super fun, energetic and social with a ton of personality and energy, so a home with a lot of activity is best for me.
