Hi there! I’m Mocha, a sweet six-year-old girl kitty named for my soft brown and cream tabby coat. My family is moving and can’t take me, so I’m in need of a new home. I’m an affectionate cat who loves spending time with my person (or people). Once I get comfortable with you, I’ll be right there when you wake up, ready to start our day with a conversation consisting of your words and my meows--I have quite a diverse lexicon! My idea of a great time is a petting session or grooming with a brushing glove, followed by a nap in your lap. On occasion I’ll climb up on your shoulders for a look around, and when you lie down I might curl up or make biscuits on your tummy. (No worries, I just weigh seven pounds!)
My second favorite activity is playing with my toys. I like chasing a stretchy string and pouncing on a toy mouse. Every now and then, when I’m in the mood for a change of pace, I’ll chase my tail. People seem to find this unusual and amusing, but it comes naturally to me. I also enjoy watching the birds and satisfying my curiosity by exploring your entire house, especially when there might be something new to discover.
