Would you like a nice big furry cat to cuddle with? Check me out: I’m Missy, a sweet 10-year-old tortie girl with soft fur and distinctive white whiskers. Until recently I had a home with five other cats! I thought we were all getting along fine, but I guess our people figured out that they couldn’t give all of us the care we need, so now we’re all together here at AWLMC. I’m a little shy at first, but once we get acquainted I’ll be super affectionate. I loved my kitty brothers and sisters, but I’ll also be happy with a less crowded house where I can get plenty of my favorite thing--undivided attention from my people. Toys are boring and best left to the kittens; I’d much rather stay close to you and keep track of whatever you’re doing. Did I mention I’m a big girl? At nearly 19 pounds I’m an impressive presence, but the vet suggests it’ll be easier for me to stay healthy if I slim down a bit. Maybe you can help me with that; my number one goal is to be able to fit on your lap.
