I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Minnie

I'm Available
Meet Minnie—short for Minerva, after the legendary Professor McGonagall herself. Just like her namesake, Minnie is elegant, intelligent, and quietly magical. This beautiful 8-year-old solid gray Domestic Shorthair is being surrendered through no fault of her own; with a busy household that included a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old, Minnie became uncomfortable and stressed. Her family lovingly wants her to have a calmer, happier life where she can truly thrive.

Minnie is a gentle soul who forms deep, meaningful bonds with her humans. She may be a bit shy at first, carefully observing her surroundings as she sizes up the situation, but once she feels safe, her playful and affectionate personality emerges. Minnie is happiest in a calm, predictable home and would do best with a single person or family, possibly with older children who can respect her space.

Minnie loves routine comforts—she often beats you to bed at night and happily curls up on your lap, purring her heart out while you watch TV or work on your computer. While she allows being picked up, she prefers all four paws on the ground and may gently wiggle free. She does occasionally get the zoomies, announcing them loudly as she races through the house! Minnie is missing her front claws due to a past infection, but she uses the litter box without fail and enjoys a good scratching post.

Minnie is patiently waiting for her special person to find her—come meet her and see if this gentle, gray beauty is the missing piece in your home. 🐾💙
