Look into my soft golden eyes and what do you see? A shy orange and white tabby boy named Mikey. I was found outside and brought to a county shelter where the AWLMC people saw my potential to be a loving companion in a forever home. Don’t let my shyness fool you, my curiosity about everything is helping me come out of my shell, especially my curiosity about toys! In fact, my favorite word is “play” particularly when it involves wand toys. I am not quite two years old and I love chasing, jumping, and moving anywhere to catch anything dangling off of those wand toys. Besides wand toys, I am learning that “hands on” things can be fun too - like eating yummy treats off your fingers, head and neck scratches, and receiving gentle pets along the side of my body. The more I get to know you, the more I want to be around you. I’ve also made friends with my feline roommates, one who is also very shy and the other who is a very chill "lover" boy. I am learning from both of them, showing just how smart I am. Come meet me! I just may be the handsome ginger boy that you have been looking for to become YOUR lifetime companion.
