Hi, there! We are Mikey and Bandit, two shy guys who had rough starts in life and are learning the art of love, starting with each other! We first met in a room at AWLMC and slowly became best friends and then bonded brothers, sharing a bed and grooming each other. Now we’re ready to move together to a forever home with a constant human companion or two.
I’m Mikey, a 3-year-old orange and white tabby boy with soft golden eyes. I spent my first eighteen months living outdoors, so it’s taken me a while to overcome my shyness. My natural curiosity has helped me come out of my shell, though, especially my curiosity about toys! You can use a laser beam to lure me out of my cozy bed with Bandit, and I love chasing, jumping, and moving anywhere to catch toy mice or feathers dangling from wands. I've also learned that “hands on” things can be fun too—like eating yummy treats off your fingers and getting head and neck scratches. And, oh, let's not forget the brushing. Everything, including meeting new people, is less scary now that we have each other. We’re looking forward to moving to a home with one or two steady, low-key people. You may find a pair of sweet, gentle cats to be just what you need! Enjoy our quiet company, or our playful antics (especially for the youngster Mikey) while you work, watch TV or listen to soothing music, and have a cup of tea.
