Hello there! I’m Mickey, a 5-year-old orange tabby boy. I’m told I’m a beautiful example of the breed, a tall cat with sparkling pale green eyes. I’ve lived my whole life with my beloved person, an elderly lady who sadly can’t take care of me anymore. She was relieved to learn about AWLMC’s expertise on finding just the right new home for a special cat. So here I am, a little off-balance from the big change and all the hubbub. It may take me a while to blossom in a new place; right now I’ll just survey the room from a cat tree or under a chair. When I feel more comfortable, you’ll see that I enjoy chasing small balls and toy mice; I also like scratching, but I’m very responsible and only use scratching posts or my wicker basket. My ideal home is simple; I’ve had no exposure to other cats, dogs, kids, or even men. I want to lavish all my affection on one person. Once I get to know you, I’ll be your constant companion, enjoying lots of petting and tummy rubs and curling up next to you at bed time.
