Hi there, I’m Mazie, a petite four-year-old girl kitty. I’m a dilute tortoiseshell; in case you don’t know, that means my fur has lots of soft colors—light brown and gray and beige. People have said I’m like an Impressionist painting. I’ve lived in two homes in my life, and both were sad to give me up—one because of a problem with money and the other because of a serious health issue. Lucky for me, I’m an easygoing girl who can adapt to a new routine and bond with new people quickly. One of my former homes was with one quiet person, and the other was a hubbub of activity with kids and another cat.
I love to explore, so it won’t take me long to check out every nook and cranny of your house. Once I’m comfortable in my surroundings, you’ll see how affectionate I can be, curling up next to you in your chair and sleeping with you at night. I also love to play. So far my toy mouse is my favorite, but I’m looking forward to discovering other toys with you and keeping both of us entertained. While I am not a true lap cat I love to sit next to you and sleep next to you! I’m eager to move out of the shelter and get acquainted with my new family; I have a good feeling that my third home will be my forever charm.
