I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Maew

We're happy to tell you that Maew has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Cats Page to see the cats currently available.
I’m Maew – and no, that is not a typo for Meow – my name means “cat” in Thai. I am a two-year-old brown tabby girl. When hit by a car as a kitten, I was rescued and adopted by a kind passer-by who had other pets and gave me my name. I enjoyed living with the other cats and a dog. Later I got outside and ran into the street again – this time a broken pelvis when a car hit me, but now I am fine!  If it seems like I want to go outside it is probably a good idea to keep me safe inside with you.

My foster parents say I am a sweet girl and the perfect, polite house guest. But now I’m looking for a new home to call mine – maybe with some furry siblings? My only requirement is a nice tall cat tree by a window where I can watch birds and squirrels – one of my favorite pastimes. Some catnip and feather toys would be nice too. I like to be near you, will let you know with gentle head butts when I want attention or food, and have been known to sleep at the foot of the bed at night. If you are looking for a friendly, low-key companion for you or your fur kids please stop by the shelter to meet me. I really, really want to go home soon!
