I am a delightful three-year-old female bundle of energy and affection named Lilac! My human family adopted me when I was a kitten but when my main human buddy left for college, it was decided I would be happier in another home. Luckily for me, AWLMC decided they could help me with my quest for a new home, so here I am! My soft sleek black and white fur has beautiful markings. The spot on my nose makes me cute as a button. I like to gaze directly at you with my striking green eyes. At first I’m curious and a little shy at the same time. But once I’m comfy, you will find me to be a real lover. I love rubbing, petting, brushing and head butting. I like to do that ‘mashed potato’ thing and snuggle next to you and purr. Once we are well-acquainted, it’s time to have fun! Let me entertain you with my chasing, leaping, and pouncing! Just let me know if you don’t want me on the counters and I will comply. I am an exuberant scratching post user. Not a picky eater, I’ll take whatever is on the cat food menu. But I have table manners - I won’t beg for your food. I’m soft-spoken and make little squeaky sounds to say hello, when I’m exploring, or just to have a bit of conversation with you once in a while.
