Hi, I’m Layla, a 4 year old “torbie” girl. Torbie means I’m a mix of tabby and tortoiseshell, but I’m actually a mix of many things! I am shy, but also love to be around my person. I sometimes hide under the bed, but I sit on the couch and cuddle with my person too! What can I say? I’m a cat – I like to keep you guessing! When I first come into a home folks might need to be patient with me because I will probably hide a bit; I just need to figure out where everything is and what to do. I promise I’ll grow to love the activity and people in the home, but I’d still probably prefer to be in a less active household. That doesn’t mean that I’m not active, though! When I get comfortable in my home, I do like to play. My foster mom will tell you that I am a cat who fetches. I found a clean pair of her balled up socks and brought it to her. She praised me but then threw them again (What the heck? Didn’t she want them?). So I brought them back to her again. This made her laugh but geez, I was just trying to give her back her socks! If you’re looking for a gal who will be your sweet but shy (at least at first) cuddle bug, I just might be the cat for you! Shall we meet?
