Hi, I’m Kkobi, a gray and white tabby girl. When my previous family first saw me as a tiny kitten, the Korean word for “little” popped into their minds. Now, five years later, I’m still Kkobi, even though I’m now a normal-sized girl. That family had to give me up because of health problems (theirs, not mine). I’m accustomed to a lively household, with four adults plus small and medium sized dogs. The dogs were my friends; we played and slept together, and I have no problem giving a dog a gentle “back off” message when I’ve had enough. Maybe those dogs taught me to enjoy a good game of fetch, or maybe inter-species behaviors just come naturally to me! Call my name and I’ll come running, from the basement or wherever I happen to be. I never forget that I’m a cat, of course. I also love making myself comfy in a cardboard box, digging into a cat scratcher, and leaping around in pursuit of a wand toy or a laser beam.
As well as my love of play, I also have an extremely affectionate side. Once I get to know you, I’ll be eager to spend time with you, on the couch or the bed, enjoying petting and letting you know what’s on my mind with meows and purrs. I’ll also join you in your daily activities; if you stretch out on a yoga mat, I’ll be right there, ready to show off my form. I’ve spent more time with women than men, so my natural tendency in a new environment is to look for girlfriends to hang out with. But really, I’ve never met a person I didn’t like!
I have lots of love to share. Let’s get acquainted and see if we belong together!
