I’m Kit Cat, a one-year-old orange tabby boy. Just going by my name, you might expect me to be a cat as sweet as a candy bar. It’s not that simple, though; my personality has many facets. Sometimes I’m affectionate and cuddly, giving you head butts and curling up next to you on the couch. At other times you’ll see my “golden tiger” side; I’ll explore every corner of your house, in search of adventure. My foster mom says I’m my own “person,” like a human boy: friendly and affectionate while maintaining just the right amount of independence. I love playing with anything from a laser dot to a ball of aluminum foil. People, other cats, and dogs are all welcome to join in the fun. And my activity doesn’t have to be confined to the inside of your house, if you’d like to take me out on a leash. That’s right, I’m one of those rare cats who enjoy walking with their person. (Maybe I picked this up from my dog friends.) I recommend a scratching post or two to absorb some of my excess energy—at least until you and I get to know each other, when I’ll probably spend more time on your lap.
