Hi there! We’re Kiara and Kion, a bonded sister-and-brother duo named after The Lion King, and we’re looking for a forever home together. We’re both one year old, and while our family loves us dearly, allergies mean they had to make the hard decision to help us find a new place to land.
I’m Kiara, the gray tabby sister, and I’m the confident, curious one. If you’re home, I want to know what you’re doing—and I’ll probably follow you from room to room to supervise. I love head rubs, leg brushes, and once I trust you, I’ll happily flop over for belly rubs. I’m not the biggest fan of being held, but I love cuddling on my own terms, especially during TV time. I’m a serious toy collector: strings, pom-poms, pipe cleaners, felt toys—if it’s soft and small, I’ve probably hidden it under the couch. I chirp when I “hunt” and greet you right at the door when you come home.
My quieter brother who is gray/brown with black stripes is Kion. He likes to take his time warming up, but once he does, he is incredibly sweet. During the day he tends to keep to himself—unless he is hungry or birdwatching—but at night he will come find you for affection. He loves laser toys, hide-and-seek games, and string, and he’ll yowl if he accidentally gets stuck in a room. He doesn’t seek being held, but he won’t fight it either, and he adores head rubs.
We’ve grown up with gentle kids (ages 8–12) and did great with them. We wrestle, nap, cuddle, and always look for comfort in each other. Our perfect day includes good food, playtime, outdoor watching, and curling up together with our people nearby.
