Hello! My name is Jodie, pleased to meet you. Actually, call me whatever you want, I will listen to you when I feel like it, I mean, I am a cat after all. I am a cute 1-year old black and white short-haired boy. I don’t know much about my history except that the nice people at AWLMC picked me from another Local Shelter to bring back to their place so here I am. You know what else I am? A purr machine. Yes, that is correct, I purr all of the time. I like to rub against you and purr or just be near you and purr - that’s what a purr machine does. I’m not much of a lap cat, because I’d rather be playing! One of my favorite things to play with is my fuzzy toy mouse. Specifically, I love to walk casually near it, jump on the unsuspecting toy, and then bat it around until it “disappears” under the closet door. I am also very acrobatic, I got some tips from the recent Olympics’ gymnastics teams. I can leap really high over my cat beds in my attempt to sneak up on my toys. At times, my four paws go in one direction while the rest of my body goes in another direction. It is kind of fun!! Sometimes, I enjoy playing so much that I get a little over-stimulated and may nip my human but I am learning my manners. I don’t think I like other cats, or at least not my foster male sibling. I am a fun little boy that would love to have a new home to play in. Is your house available?
