Hi there! I’m Jay Jay, a one-year-old gray and white beauty with long, soft fur and tons of energy to spare! I’m a sweet, playful girl who loves to pounce, chase, and explore every nook and cranny of my surroundings. My favorite things? Feather toys, bells, and sneak attacks under the covers—so watch out!
I’ve been told I have a big personality. I’m very curious and love following my humans (or other cats) around, sniffing out what they’re up to. I’m also quite the talker—whether I’m chirping during playtime or purring loudly while you pet me, I’ll always let you know how I feel.
I absolutely adore kids, especially when they play with me! My name, Jay Jay, was chosen by my previous family's grandkids, who named me after a TV cat they loved, and even though I turned out to be a girl, the name stuck. Pretty cute, right? Anyway, my previous family was very sad to surrender me but they felt they owed it to the other senior cat in the house, who I allegedly bothered once in a while, but hey, I was just looking to play!
I’m affectionate and love being close to my humans. Once I’ve explored my new space, I’ll probably cuddle up next to you on the couch. Oh, and I’m definitely a “tree cat” who loves high-up spots, so a tall cat tree or cozy bed on a shelf would be amazing for me.
I do have a few quirks that make me extra special. I eat my food with a lot of enthusiasm—sometimes a bit too quickly—so I do well with puzzle feeders. I also tend to get a little too curious about my toys, so my humans need to keep an eye on anything with strings, elastics, or small parts. Safety first!
I’m open to living with other playful pets, but I’ll need patient introductions since I have so much energy and love to play. If you’re ready for a playful, curious, and loving companion, I think we’d be a perfect match. I can’t wait to meet you!
