Gunther is a sweet four-year-old gray tabby. A year ago he showed up as a stray in a neighborhood where a cat-loving couple brought him inside. Unfortunately, they already had three cats who did not welcome Gunther into their home. Their hostility is why he was surrendered to AWLMC.
Would you like an affectionate and playful cat? Gunther could be your match! He loves to chase and catch things. Wand toys and mice are a must. He also chases a wind-up car and after catching it tosses it about. He is a “booper” and head butts everyone he meets for petting. He likes to be picked up and cuddled. His wiggling around will tell you when he is ready to stop. He wants to sleep with you, often between the pillows at your head. His soft purring will lull you to sleep. You will have conversations with him answering in various meows. Gunther is not shy but may require a slow and patient introduction into a new home. Before long he will be snuggling with you on the couch! Pretty perfect little kitty – come meet him in our shelter!
