Hi, there! I am Grayce, a 4-year-old dilute tortie female kitty who is looking for her “furever” home! I like to be held, petted, and brushed and will let you know it is time if you should happen to forget. I like balls, string toys and the red laser dot to play with, especially when you are playing with them too. Sometimes I get the “zoomies,” meaning I will dash around the house like crazy for no reason whatsoever. Actually, I do it to make you laugh and to get your attention. I appreciate your company at mealtime too – who would want to eat their meals in solitary splendor anyway?!
I lived in a quiet home with an older couple so that is what I am used to. I have never been around other pets or rarely children. If children are in the vicinity, I will seek out a place to hide until they are gone.
When you give me treats, you are supposed to ask me “Want a snack?” and then give me the treat. I am so cute when I respond to that question – however, don’t give me unlimited treats just because I am cute – although I know it is tempting! When I am getting ready to do something I’m not supposed to (who? Me?), I will respond to your command “you better not” by casually walking away as if I never thought of doing that. I am sure that will amuse you also.
