Hi, I’m Goji! I’m a silver male tabby kitten born in August 2021. I was found as an abandoned orphan on the University of MD campus in a drainage ditch. I was lucky enough to be trapped by a rescuer, which very likely saved my life. After entering into foster, I developed an infection in the paw of my right hind leg. Despite many rounds of antibiotics, x-rays and doctor visits, it was determined that a full leg amputation was necessary, as I no longer had use of that limb.
I am happy to report that I have healed completely and have been given a clean bill of health! And in case you were wondering, I get around just fine with 3 legs! I jump just as high, run just as quick and get into as much trouble as everyone else! However, I am most comfortable curled up in your lap, getting the attention I deserve! Everyone I meet falls quickly in love with my wonderful sweet personality. My foster family decided I needed a buddy, so I was paired up with my beautiful foster sister, Juniper. We have become quite attached and will need to be adopted together.
