Hello, I’m Gentoo, a loving grey and white male 6 YO kitty weighing in at only 16 pounds (you won’t need to ring the dinner bell twice for me!) My previous owner has to travel more for work and says I need a human that has lots of time to spend with me. Maybe even a companion cat or dog too. A small older dog was an occasional visitor that I enjoyed playing and cuddling with.
I love to play, especially with a fishing pole toy. I’m named after a breed of penguin, and penguins like to fish, right? When I have the zoomies, I will amuse us both running in and out of my tunnel. I might seem shy at first in new surroundings and with new people but I am actually quite inquisitive and outgoing. I’m certainly not shy about letting you know when I want some fun or attention.
Near you is my favorite place to be. If you are in a chair/couch/bed I will be there! I am a lap cat and will even lay my head on your chest and gaze up at you with loving eyes. I’ll give you a head start getting to sleep and then sometime during the night quietly nestle at the bottom of your bed. And when you wake up I’ll be there ready for more action and affection!
