I’m Eiv, a sweet 8 year old Tortoiseshell cuddle bug with a big personality and an even bigger love for my people! My owner’s circumstances changed and it was decided I would be better off finding a new home where I can get more attention! I lived with my brother for about 7 years until he moved away with my owner's sister. We were quite the pair chasing each other and sleeping together. I may be a little shy gal when we first meet, but once I feel safe, I’ll show you just how loving, playful, and silly I can be.
My favorite things? Being your little spoon, curling up beside you, and getting ALL the belly and base-of-tail scratches. I love to wrestle and play, and honestly, a human hand is my favorite toy! I’ll also chase little toys you toss for me. When I’m really happy, I purr up a storm—and sometimes I even snore during my extra-creative sleeping positions.
I’m also very good at keeping my humans on schedule. If you’ve been in bed too long, I’ll gently paw your face to let you know it’s time to get up! I love sunbathing on a balcony and watching the world outside, although I’m much more comfortable admiring the outdoors from a safe spot.
I’d love a home with another friendly cat and a person who is home often or has a consistent schedule. I can be nervous in new places, but with patience, love, and a little time, I blossom into a trusting, affectionate girl who simply wants to be close to you.
