I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Daisy

We're happy to tell you that Daisy has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Cats Page to see the cats currently available.

My name is Daisy and as such, I should be a yellow and white cat; however, I have a glossy black coat with 10-14 individual white hairs scattered about my body.  Google ID says that I am a Bombay cat – a cross between a Burmese and a black American short hair cat. However, I suspect that if that’s the case, it was far back in my ancestry – but it makes a good story, doesn’t it?   Maybe I should have been named Bombay instead.  Anyway, I am a 2 year old girl who was recently found as a stray. I am definitely not suited for that way of life.  I really appreciate the indoor life with regular meals, toys to play with, a safe place to sleep and someone special (you) to care for me.  I am very fond of wand and string toys with feathers and worms attached to them for me to try to catch.  I also like chasing balls around the floor.  The red laser dot is fun too.  My first name may be Daisy, but my middle name is Curiosity.  If someone or something comes into the house, I must inspect it.  I spend most of my day in the same room as you, just in case you might do something interesting.  And if you don’t, I will come over to be petted, in case that might get you moving – like with a wand toy!

I would like to find a caring and active home maybe with respectful kids.  I am very curious and love to keep track of what is happening in my home.  I have lived with other cats and an older dog.  If there are people around, I will be there to oversee them.  I will jump into your lap on my way somewhere else but not to stay for long.  I sleep on your bed or on a rug beside it. I also purr softly when you pet me.

If you think you might be my special someone, please come see me.  I’m waiting for you.
