Hello – my name is Chip – AKA – Chipper. I am an 11-month-old adolescent DSH male cat who lives up to my name. I am also a “cow” cat – a white cat with 5 black circular patches on my right side. This is to allow me to get away with most anything because if you look at me from the right, I’ve got spots. If you look at me from the left – no spots. So some other cat got into mischief – not ME! The arrangement of the black spots on my head are unique too – I have black eyeliner on one eye and pink on the other. Obviously, I am a handsome boy!
After I’ve settled in, I am very affectionate and want to be in the same room as you. As I get older, I may be more of a lap cat but right now I have too much energy. I love the wand toy with the worm on it – it’s my favorite. I will also chase balls and bottle caps if you toss them. Sometimes, I’ll play with them on my own too. I like a tall cat scratching post so I can climb to the top and play “King of the Mountain.”
I do appreciate a good meal but I LOVE Churu! I gobble it right down and lick your fingers to make sure I have gotten it all, but I only get one a day. If you take me home, maybe we can make a deal on two a day?!
I will also sleep with you for the first part of the night but in the morning, I want to play and will let you know that. I guess that’s why sometimes in the early morning I am banned from the bedroom because “someone” wants to sleep later than me! But you would play with me then, right?
I’m thinking I would do well in a home with another cat around my age to play with me. Or a home with older, cat-savvy children who can tell when I’m getting over-excited and need to rest. I like lots of activity but sometimes don’t know when to stop.
Please come see me, play with me, and take me home with you.
