Hello, I'm Carter, a 3 year old gray and white 17 lb. tabby boy. It’s a mystery how I came to be turned in as a stray but I absolutely adore being with people. I'm a lovable marshmallow of a cat.
First things first, let me give you a glimpse of my appearance. I'm adorned in a stunning coat of silky, luxurious gray, with the most adorable white markings. I love it when you give me attention, pet me, or indulge me in a little brushing session.
I may be a big boy, but I'm a gentle giant, even with kids. As for other cats, I've been introduced to them, and while I stay calm, it seems I might have a knack for causing a hissy fit or two. Don't worry, though; I'm sure we can all get along with a little time.
I'm curious by nature and can't help but investigate what's behind every door. Maybe that’s how I came to be a stray, but I'm learning that certain doors are off-limits. You'll find me a quick study when it comes to manners too, like keeping off tables and counters. I promise to be on my best behavior!
When it comes to playtime, I'm always up for it. Strings and toy mice are my jam, and I can entertain myself for hours batting those little toys around. If you want to join in, that's even better!
At catnap time, I like to cuddle up next to you, partly on your lap, because, well, I don't quite fit on a single lap - but that doesn't stop me from trying!
