Hi I'm Barley, a five years old tabby who sports a lovely gray tabby coat with white patches! Barley originally, was found outside someone’s door, cold and hungry, he was brough inside and remained as a house cat. His ears were not tipped, so he apparently was a former House Cat who got out and never found his way back home. Barley is a friendly and affectionate boy who once lived and got along with three other cats in that home before he came to AWLMC. His previous owners, including his Foster have all stated he loves other cats. He was instantly comfortable with the Fosters cat, they played together and never a hiss or growl, or any aggression - just friendship. Barley will be a bit shy at first until he feels comfortable and gets to know you. Then he will be your constant companion, following you from room to room and chatting in cute chirps about your day. He will sit next to or on your lap and loves head and ear scratches. He will head butt you to make sure you know he desires your personal attention. Barley tolerates being picked up for short periods of time and will stat to wiggle when he is ready to hop down.
