Hi, I’m Bruiser — but don’t let the name fool you, I’m actually a big softie at heart.
I’m a 4-year-old orange and white tabby boy with a gentle soul and the tiniest little meow. I’m a bit shy and startle easily, so I’ll need a patient and loving home where I can open up at my own pace. I used to spend most of my time in the basement or curled up in a cat tree, only coming out when things were quiet. But everything changed when a friendly foster cat came into my life — we played with toy balls and string like old pals, and I felt so much braver with him around. I'd likely thrive with a kind feline friend like that in my forever home.
Before that, I lived with another resident cat who, sadly, didn’t like me very much. My humans loved me deeply, but they knew I needed a different environment to truly thrive. That’s when I got a second chance — and now I’m ready for my next chapter.
Even when I’m nervous, I always let my people pick me up. I might wiggle away sometimes, but if you sit with me and offer gentle head rubs, I’ll melt into your hands — I’ve even fallen asleep mid-pet! My purr is soft, but it’s there, and it means I feel happy and safe. I love being near you, especially on a cozy chair or lap, and when I’m feeling brave, I’ll quietly snuggle in beside you.
Toys? Yes, please! I go wild for my little ball (especially if you roll it to me), and don’t even get me started on catnip — I LOVE it. A big bird on a string? Count me in.
Come see me today!
