Hello, I'm Anchovy, a two-year-old gray tabby girl with a heart as soft as my fur and gentle me-ow. My recent adoptive family brought me back to a shelter after just two weeks. It seems I struggled to adjust, becoming fearful around their kids, dogs, cats and new baby.
In the shelter, I showed none of that anxiety or fear. I was a sweet and affectionate feline. When my AWLMC foster family took me in, they discovered that I may be shy at first, but my curiosity and playful spirit shine through once I feel comfortable.
My stunning gray/green eyes and white muzzle make me quite the looker. While I might not be a lap cat, I enjoy being in the same room as my human friends as well as giving and receiving affection. I can be chatty with my soft me-ows especially when I sense it might be mealtime.
My favorite spot is my cozy cat bed, where I feel safe and secure. I'm a fan of playtime, particularly with strings, and I won't hesitate to use a scratching post to keep my claws in check. Using a litter box is second nature to me.
I'm ready to find a forever home where I can be cherished for the sweet, affectionate kitty that I am. Are you ready to welcome a beautiful gray tabby into your heart?
