Hello there! I'm Alex, a sweet 5-year-old male orange tabby cat. I'm very gentle with kids and babies and get along well with other cats and dogs, but bigger, louder kids and barking dogs make me anxious. I'm looking for a new home because, despite loving my current family, it's just too noisy and crowded for me to feel safe.
New places or people can make me a bit nervous, but once I settle in, I become quite lovable and playful. I love to chase feathers and follow laser lights. I enjoy looking out the windows and watching birds. When it’s cat nap time, I find cozy, quiet spots (though I often get accidentally locked in closets because of my hiding habits!)
I like a good chin scratch. Although I tolerate being picked up, I much prefer to snuggle with you on the couch. Cuddling with you or a cat buddy in a sunny spot is the best. I'm mostly quite except I do like to chat at feeding time.
My ideal home would be quieter, with a special someone who can give me all the love, attention, and extra food I desire. If you think we’d be a good match, I can't wait to meet you!
