Hi, I'm Brutus of Brush and Ash. I am a Beautiful 5 year old Brown and Black with Black stripes DSH (so is Ash his brother) who is being surrendered because his owner has to return to Bolivia and cannot take them as she is fearful of the 12K altitude for them and she wants them to have a great home. Brutus was adopted from HRA Foster care with the name of Brutus given to him by the foster (his original name was Nroon). Brutus is described as a cat who makes his presence known, he wants to participate in everything you do. He doesn't like being locked outside a room, as he sits and ME-OWs as long as the door is closed. He likes to play hard with his brother. Brutus like his brother is not necessarily a lap nor being picked up. But he does like to be close to you as you sit on a chair or couch. Plus he will follow you from room to room just to be with you. He affectionate and loves pets, is very curious and likes to interact with people. In addition to playing with his brother he loves hanging toys and will jump to catch them, and he can jump really high (it sometimes scared the owner)! He, like his brother, will try and catch treats if you toss them to him! He will sit next to you but is not fond of laps or of being picked up and snuggled. He is very disciplined in the use of a litter box and does like a scratching post. PS The best was to tell them apart is that Brutus is bigger than Ash.
