My name is Sally, and I’m a 15-year-old senior cat with a very gentle heart. I’ve always been a calm, friendly companion, and I’m hoping to find a peaceful home where I can spend my golden years with someone who enjoys quiet company as much as I do. I grew up with other cats and have always gotten along well with everyone. I don’t bite or scratch—instead I communicate with soft meows, quiet chirps, and lots of purrs. I originally lived with a senior who loved me dearly, but when they could no longer care for me, a family member took me in. They’re away from home often, though, so now I’m looking for a place where I won’t be alone so much.
I’m affectionate, social, and happiest when I can be near my person. I love sitting on laps, curling up beside you, or gently tapping your leg when I’d like you to sit so I can join you. I give slow blinks when you talk to me and offer gentle head bumps when I’m feeling grateful. I enjoy being brushed, exploring soft blankets, watching people pass by outside, and investigating new bags or cozy spots around the house.
I’m low-energy, easy to care for, and lightly playful—I still enjoy feather toys, string toys, and batting small balls when the mood strikes. I warm up quickly to gentle people and appreciate a calm environment where I can relax and feel safe.
