Hi, I’m Basia — a 2-year-old black and white girl with little splashes of orange that make me extra special. My brother Alex and I are very bonded, so we’re looking for a home together. We’re being surrendered because our person can no longer care for us, but we’ve always had lots of love.
I’m a little shy when I first meet new people, but it doesn’t take me long to warm up. Once I do, I’ll happily curl up in your lap and turn on my motor — I’m a very dedicated purrer! Sometimes I get a little conflicted and will purr and grumble at the same time, but it just means I’m figuring things out. I adore my catnip toy, love gentle pets, and will come over to ask for snuggles once I feel safe.
I also have excellent litterbox manners and even tolerate being picked up for short cuddles. I think I’d do best in a semi-quiet home where people are around to give me and Alex the attention and affection we love. If you’re looking for a sweet, lap-loving pair, we may just be the perfect match.
