My name is Curry because my orange coloring is the shade of “someone’s” favorite curry sauce. In fact, at one point, there were four of us, all named for different favorite foods. I was the youngest and am now the only one left. Not only that, but my beloved human had to move to a nursing home after a hospital stay and can no longer take care of me, so I am looking for a new home. Her Lovely Neighbor came in twice a day to spend time with me and to help me keep up my social skills, including bringing in a neighbor or two for me to interact with! In fact, the writer (W) of this biography was one of them. (W: Curry came up to me for petting shortly after I arrived and stayed for some toy time. Then she laid down near me for more petting. Curry is a sweetie. Are there sweet curries too?)
Anyway, I am an 8-year-old soft orange girl kitty with only a little white fur for decoration. I like to play with wand toys, balls, mice and catnip toys. I will play on my own but prefer playing with you. I will sit quietly beside you and sleep with you but I’m not enthusiastic about being picked up. I’m not wild about dogs either! My beloved human and I led a quiet life together and I think I would like a quiet home so we can give each other the attention we deserve.
