Hi, I’m Octavia!
I’m a 2-year-old black and white tabby with a gentle soul and a quiet heart. Life’s been a little bumpy for me—after I had my kittens, my previous people decided they didn’t want to keep me anymore and surrendered me to the county. I was a young mom, doing my best, and suddenly I found myself alone and unsure of what was next.
I’m naturally shy, and new places and people take me a little time to warm up to. But once I feel safe, I’ll greet you with soft chirps and meows. I am not a fan of being carried around—just not my thing—but if you sit down and invite me over, I’ll gladly rub my head against you and stay curled up next to you for hours. I’m all about quiet companionship, chin rubs and sweet head bumps.
I’m not a fan of other cats (and dogs aren’t my favorite either), so I’d really love to be the only pet in a calm home where I can be your one and only. I’ve never been aggressive—I just quietly remove myself from situations that make me uncomfortable.
