I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Kahless

I'm Available

Hello! Kahless here, named for the Star Trek Klingon Warrior. I’m a talkative, almost 5-year-old, medium hair ragdoll. And I am all boy –- 16 lbs of living up to my warrior namesake!

As a kitten I started life as an emotional support pet for a veteran with PTSD and we loved each other so much.  I was 2 years old when we were separated and I went to live in a nice home with a human mom and dad and kitty siblings.  I had lots of space to zoom around and play (my dad called me a bowling ball with legs!). I especially loved my new human dad. And I always enthusiastically greet male visitors. It seems I don’t know how to play nicely with other smaller kitties. With my weight and warrior attitude, I sometimes play too hard. So now I’m looking for a home where the other pets are not smaller than me or I again am the only one…with a warrior human dad to dote on me!

So here is what else you should know about me. I am high-energy and like lots of space to zoom around and play. I will follow you around with lots of conversation.  If you shower me with attention and petting, I will be devoted to you. I am not a great cuddler, but I will sit and sleep with you. I love to be brushed and because my fur is long, we will need regular brushing sessions. I especially love when we play with toys together. I am great at hunting and chasing moving things and proudly carrying around my “kill”.   I enjoy using upright scratching posts everywhere you put them – you can’t have too many for me.  And I saved the best for last. My first dad taught me to “high five” and I still do it sometimes on command.  So if I sound like a good match for you, please stop by and give me a high-five!
