I’m Phoebe! I’m an especially soft, small, 2-year-old tortie girl with some white on my tummy and under my chin. I had a nice home, but when the family baby became a toddler who kept forgetting the difference between a stuffed cat and a live one, the stress affected my health. (I’m fine now!) My people were sad, but they knew I needed a more predictable environment. So I’m looking for a quiet, peaceful, low-stress home, probably with one or two calm adults. I love spending time with people, but I can keep myself entertained if you’re busy during the day; I’ll try to squeeze into every nook and cranny in your house, play with toys, and watch the squirrels outside. Then I’ll choose a comfortable chair to snooze on. When you have time to hang out with me, we can play together! Wand toys are my favorite. At night I'll lie on your lap while you watch TV, and you’ll be able to feel my very soft purr. I’ll show you how much I love your pets and chin rubs by cuddling and maybe drooling just a bit. I also have my own special way of expressing joy, which is kneading a blanket and trying to nurse from it.
