Hello there! Maverick is my name, and playing is my game. I’m a 7-year-old Maine Coon boy, with soft gray fur like a fluffy cloud. Like all good Mavericks—the cowboy, the Top Gun pilot, and the pickup truck—I’m a one-of-a-kind guy. That doesn’t stop me from getting along with people and other cats, though. I’ve lived for most of my life with two cat friends. Our pet mom had to move, so now I’m ready for a new person and maybe a new cat friend or two. I weigh 12 lbs, which is actually svelte for a Maine Coon, so I’ll fit nicely onto your lap for brushing—which, luckily, I enjoy. I think you’ll enjoy it, too; we can meditate together. Once I feel comfortable in your home, I’ll track you down and sit next to you or suggest a game. Did I mention I love to play? Laser toys are right up my alley. I also like chasing small balls that make noise. When no person or cat is in the mood to play with me, I’m comfortable lounging on top of a cat tower or showing a scratching post who’s boss. There are lots of things we can do together, so let’s get acquainted!
