I can amuse myself and will sit near you while you’re working. I like to wander about and check out windows and would prefer that you let me come to you on my terms. You won’t need any other cats around with me to keep you company.
	JASMINE Spayed Female         DOB: 3/06 They say I’m a typical tortie – feisty and fiercely independent. I know I’m very intelligent and I love to play on my own or with a human companion. Give me a ball to bat around and chase, or wriggle a toy for me. I can spend hours playing. I enjoy attention including petting and chin rubs and I’m quite capable of carrying on a good conversation with you. I’m not sure about sitting on laps yet - however, I generally ask to share a corner of the bed with you for at least part of the night. While I can tolerate another cat and actually get along quite well with SANTANA, I strongly prefer to have all the attention for myself.
	SPUNKY Neutered Male        DOB: 9/05         I’m very handsome fellow and a polydactyl as well. Sadly, I was rescued about two weeks too late to be easily tamed. However, I am a house cat and I’m always curious about what’s going on around me. I like to watch what you are doing, but don’t try to pick me up or pet me unless I’m sleepy or too comfortable to run away. I like to play and run around the house with the other cats, but I’ll hide from strangers. I need a special adopter.
	LATTE Neutered Male          My owner moved out of the country and rather than keep me in quarantine, he thought it best I find a new home. I am very friendly and loving. While I’ll tolerate the company of some other cats for a short time, I’d prefer to be the sole focus of your attention. I’ll make a terrific loving pet and companion for the right person. 	HENRY Neutered Male         DOB: 1/05 I’m a friendly, playful guy despite the time I spent on the streets before I was rescued. Living on the edge encouraged me to play a bit rough with other cats and people. I often have to be reminded to be a bit more gentle; I admit I get over stimulated and I probably will do best in a quiet environment where I can feel secure. Maybe that’s why I’m not fond of children or dogs, but I’ll make a good companion for quiet adults.
	SANTANA Neutered Male          I’m a very quiet fellow, not the rough and tumble type. I get along with most other cats, but I really enjoy the company of humans. I was heartbroken when my owner gave me up after she had a baby and no longer had time for me. I’m looking to find someone who will have time to share with me. Could that someone be you?

I make my own decisions about when I want attention, but I do like to sit near you or sometimes on your lap or hang out with you when I’m in the mood.  I’m not fond of children or dogs, but I’d consider a quiet adult who will appreciate my special charms.
	SMOKIE Neutered Male          My mother and siblings and I were found shortly after she gave birth. She had obviously once been someone’s pet and welcomed being rescued. My mother and siblings have all been adopted and I sure would like to find a home of my own, too. I’m a pretty laid back fellow on the quiet side, but I’ll make a wonderful companion.
